Nick Wilson is a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives representing District 82, which includes Whitley County and part of Laurel County. Born on June 11, 1990, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, he grew up in a challenging family environment after his parents divorced, with his grandmother helping raise him and his four siblings. He is an attorney focused on combating the opioid epidemic, having served as a public defender in his hometown before joining the Kentucky Commonwealth's Attorney Office in 2019. Elected unopposed in 2022 and reelected unopposed in 2024, he serves from 2023 to present. Notable achievements include winning Survivor: David vs. Goliath and being named a Kentucky Colonel.

Graduated from Whitley County High School. Earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Kentucky, where he joined Kappa Sigma fraternity, becoming the first in his family to graduate college. Received a JD from the University of Alabama School of Law and is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association.
