Biography

Nick Santucci

Nick Santucci is a Republican politician serving in the Ohio House of Representatives for the 64th District, which encompasses portions of Trumbull County in southeastern Ohio. He was first elected to this position in 2022 and was re-elected in 2024 with 56% of the vote. He currently serves his second term in the legislature.

Santucci was born on May 28, 1991, in Warren, Ohio, and is from the Howland Township area. He is married to Alexis and currently resides in Howland Township.

Political Experience

In his current legislative role, Santucci has quickly established himself as an impactful legislator. He currently serves as Majority Whip for the Ohio House of Representatives, a position he was selected for in 2025. He also serves as Chairman of the Sunset Review Committee and Vice Chair of the Ohio House Redistricting Committee in the 136th General Assembly.

Prior to his election to the state legislature, Santucci built an extensive background in government affairs and workforce development. He served as Director of Government and Public Affairs at the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, where he oversaw the Chamber's Government Affairs Council and implemented major events including the Columbus Drive-In and Washington DC Fly-In. In this role, he earned recognition with the Ohio Economic Development Association's 2019 Marketing and Communication Award.

He previously held the position of Director of Government Affairs and Workforce Development at the Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio, where he advocated for the region's educational interests with state and federal governments. He currently serves as Senior Consultant for Workforce and Community Engagement at VAZA Consulting.

Education

Santucci received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from John Carroll University, graduating in 2013. While at John Carroll, he participated in "We, The People," an educational program through which he taught fifth-grade history in inner-city Cleveland schools. He completed internships with U.S. representatives and senators and served on a U.S. presidential campaign during his early career. He graduated from Howland High School in 2009.
