Biography

Nicholas A. Boldyga is a Republican representing the 3rd Hampden District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. First elected in November 2010, his district includes the City of Agawam and the towns of Blandford, Chester, Granville, Huntington, Middlefield, Montgomery, Russell, Southwick, and Tolland in Western Massachusetts. He resides in Southwick and serves as the Ranking Republican on the House Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs, while holding positions on several joint committees, including those on Advanced Information Technology, the Internet, and Cybersecurity; Bonding, Capital Expenditures, and State Assets; Environment and Natural Resources; and Financial Services.

Education and Political Experience

Prior to his election to the Massachusetts House, Boldyga served on the Southwick Board of Selectmen and the Parks & Recreation Commission. His professional background includes work as a police officer in Simsbury, Connecticut, an auditor for Deloitte & Touche LLP, and various roles in the insurance and financial services industry.
