Biography

Nick Begich III was born on October 21, 1977, in Anchorage, Alaska. He is a member of the prominent Begich political family; his grandfather, Nick Begich Sr., served as Alaska's U.S. Representative from 1971 until his disappearance in 1972. Despite his family's Democratic roots, Begich is a lifelong Republican. Before entering politics, he founded FarShore Partners, a software development company, and served as its executive chairman.
