Nick Archer is a Republican State Representative for House District 55 in western Oklahoma, based in Elk City. Born in Sayre, Oklahoma, he was raised in Elk City, where he graduated from Elk City High School in 2002. An architect, entrepreneur, and conservative leader, Archer earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma in 2008, where he met his wife, Katie. The couple returned to Elk City to build their lives, start careers, and raise their two children, Xander and Emilia. He works as Director of Engineering at Great Plains Analytical Services and owns HFJ Outdoors, a licensed FFL/SOT dealer. Notable achievements include serving as Mayor of Elk City , leading local projects like turfing sports fields and building the 52,000 sq ft Arrowhead indoor activity center, and in the legislature, acting as Vice Chair of the House Republican Caucus and Chairman of the House Energy Committee to advance energy sector reforms, pro-growth policies, Second Amendment defense, and small business support. He recently introduced House Bill 3176 to establish the Oklahoma Gas, Artificial Intelligence, and Space Research Hub for attracting federal research investments.
