Biography
Nic Kipke is a Republican Maryland Delegate representing District 31 in Anne Arundel County. Born January 26, 1979, in Baltimore, he is a lifelong Anne Arundel County resident, married with four children, and lives in Pasadena. A conservative leader first elected in 2006, he served as House Minority Leader from 2013 to 2021, Chair of the Anne Arundel County Delegation , and Ranking Member on the Health & Government Operations Committee , the youngest in that role. Current committees include Health and Rules and Executive Nominations. Notable achievements include the Casper R. Taylor, Jr. Founder's Award , Legislator of the Year from groups like the Maryland Military Coalition and Maryland State Dental Association , and passing laws such as cutting well permit fees by 50%, repealing the soda fountain tax, prohibiting welfare cards at casinos, and expanding oral healthcare access.
