Ned Carroll is a Democratic-Farmer-Labor member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 42A in Hennepin County. Elected in 2022 and serving his second term as of 2026, he is an attorney and former prosecutor who grew up in Iowa. He is married with three children.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: B.S.S. in economics and political science from Cornell College; M.A. in public policy analysis from Rutgers University; J.D. from the University of Iowa.
• Political Experience: First elected to the Minnesota House in 2022 for District 42A. Currently serves on the Capital Investment, Energy Finance and Policy, and Health Finance and Policy committees.
