Natha Clyde Anderson

Natha Clyde Anderson was born in 1972 in Reno, Nevada. She is a Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly representing District 30, which includes part of Washoe County. She assumed office on November 4, 2020, succeeding Greg Smith.

Anderson comes from a political family—her father, Bernard "Bernie" Anderson, served as a member of the Nevada Assembly from 1991 to 2010.

Education

Anderson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Political Experience

Before her election to the Nevada Assembly, Anderson worked as a teacher and served as president of the Washoe Education Association, establishing herself as an advocate for education and educators.
