Biography
Nate Davidson is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 103rd District . A Harrisburg resident raising his young family, he was born in August 1989 in Dauphin County, where he was raised, and emphasizes Central Pennsylvania values in his service. Notable achievements in his first term since 2024 include being the first member of his class to have a bill signed by Governor Shapiro, securing $6 million in grants for local communities and non-profits, $16 million in new funding for the district's four school districts, and a $2 million increase for the Harrisburg Fire Bureau. He supports pro-choice, pro-public education, and pro-union policies, and has advanced legislation on childhood sexual abuse survivor justice, free student lunches, first-time homebuyer rebates, healthcare access, energy costs, and election protections. He serves on the Capital Region Water Board and local community groups, and backs renewable energy, conservation funding, mail-in voting expansion, reproductive health, and workforce development.
Education and Political Experience
Davidson graduated from Messiah College and was born and raised in Dauphin County, learning community service from his parents' involvement in church and organizations. His political career began after college in government and politics, supporting elected officials impacting communities. Prior to his 2024 election, he served as Floor Manager for the PA House Democratic Caucus and Senior Advisor to the House Appropriations Committee Chair, helping pass key legislation on voting access, reproductive health, and workforce development.
