Biography
Natalie Zeleznikar is a Republican representative for Minnesota House District 3B, which covers northeast Minnesota including areas like Hermantown, Two Harbors, Proctor, Rice Lake, Gary-New Duluth, and various townships in Lake and St. Louis Counties such as Fredenberg, Canosia, and Pequaywan. She was first elected in 2022 and is currently in her second term, serving as Assistant Republican Leader. A long-time resident of District 3B living in Fredenberg Township, she is married to Dan Zeleznikar with two children. Zeleznikar grew up on a family farm in St. Francis, Minnesota, raised by parents Mike and Kathy Wyatt who emphasized community service and volunteering; her father was a school principal and superintendent. She has over 40 years in healthcare, starting as a nursing assistant, including frontline work during COVID-19 peaks, and describes her 30 years serving seniors as her best "history class." She is an entrepreneur, a Rotarian involved in community fundraising, and a member of Peace in Christ Lutheran Church in Hermantown. Her in-laws also dedicated careers to public service in social services and nursing.
