Natalia Hussey-Burdick is a Democratic member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 50 since November 8, 2022. Born Natalia Antonina Hussey-Burdick on December 2, 1989, she was raised in Kailua, Hawaii, in a politically active family—her mother, Ramona Hussey, co-founded the Green Party of Hawaiʻi, and her father, Alan Burdick, is a lifelong Democrat.

Education and Political Experience

She earned a B.A. in Biology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, initially planning to attend medical school but pivoting to public policy after working at the State Legislature. Her experience includes various roles in government, most recently as a member of the Reapportionment Commission for the City and County of Honolulu representing Windward Oʻahu. Notable positions include advocating for legislative reforms to reduce backroom deal-making.
