Biography
Nadarius Clark is a Democratic delegate representing Virginia's 84th House District, which includes parts of Chesapeake and Isle of Wight counties, and the cities of Franklin and Suffolk. An American activist, community organizer, mental health counselor, and political consultant from a Navy family raised in Hampton Roads, he became the youngest-ever Virginia House delegate at age 26 when first elected in 2021 to the 79th District, defeating incumbent Democrat Steve Heretick in the primary and Republican Lawrence Mason in the general. Following redistricting, he resigned in March 2023, won the Democratic primary in June 2023 for the new 84th District, and secured the general election with 53% of the vote against Republican Michael Dillender. He has served continuously in the 84th since 2024 and is running for reelection in 2025.

- Early Experience: Campaign organizer for Tim Kaine during his governorship; affiliations include Virginia Union University National Alumni Association, NAACP, Alpha Phi Omega, and Zion Community Church.
- Political Achievements and Positions: Sponsored legislation to raise teacher pay to the national average, secure funding for police and firefighters, and expand career training; advocates for debt collection reform, reproductive rights, school funding, justice, and equity. Chairs Public Safety subcommittee on Firearms; Vice Chair of Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources; member of Communications, Technology and Innovation; Education; and Public Safety committees. Awards include Virginia Union University Presidential Choice Award , VEA Legislative Champion , and I.C. Norcom Notable Award .
