Morgan Foreman is a Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing the 33rd District since January 2025. This district includes Ann Arbor, Saline, Bridgewater Township, Saline Township, York Township, Pittsfield Township, Lodi Township, and Scio Township in Washtenaw County. Born in 1989 or 1990 in Detroit and raised in Ypsilanti by her grandparents , she is an African American attorney and community leader from Southeast Michigan. She resides in Ann Arbor with her husband and dog, Rosie. Foreman won her seat in the 2024 election, defeating Democrat Rima Mohammad in the primary and Republican Jason Rogers in the general , succeeding Rep. Felicia Brabec. Notable achievements include fellowships such as Leaders of Color Fellow , Michigan State University Educational Policy Fellow , and Michigan Political Leadership Program alumna; service on the Washtenaw County Brownfield Development Board, Washtenaw County Democratic Party County Committee , as treasurer of its Black Caucus, and as an elected precinct delegate; and policy priorities in education, consumer protection, supporting seniors, and safeguarding rights. She serves on the House committees for Health Policy and Natural Resources & Outdoor Recreation.
