Biography
Mitchelle Drulis is a Democratic Assembly Member representing District 16 in the New Jersey General Assembly, serving since 2024. District 16 covers portions of Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties, including municipalities such as Branchburg, Clinton, Clinton Township, Flemington, High Bridge, Hillsborough, Lebanon Borough, Millstone , Montgomery, Princeton, Raritan , Readington, Rocky Hill, and South Brunswick. She serves as Vice Chair of the Assembly State and Local Government Committee and is a member of the Public Safety and Preparedness Committee and Labor Committee. Notable achievements include her role as Political Director for Tom Malinowski's 2018 campaign, helping flip New Jersey's 7th Congressional District to Democratic control through key endorsements and volunteer efforts, and later as District Director , where she assisted 12,000 constituents and secured federal funding for local projects. Drulis owns a small business in Somerset County, has volunteered as a class mom, PTO Vice President in the Flemington-Raritan school district, and religious education instructor at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Readington Township, and lives in Raritan Township with her husband Michael and daughter.
