Mike Wilson is a Republican Kentucky State Senator representing District 32, which includes Warren County , parts of Logan, Simpson, and Todd counties. Born on December 4, 1951, in New Albany, Mississippi, he grew up on farms in Mississippi and Tennessee, later moving to Memphis. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran , he is a Christian with a wife, Deanna, and five children: Michael Jr., Dawn, Sam, Grace, and Jessie. Since 1993, he has lived in Bowling Green, where he has been active in community and business roles, including President/CEO of The Wilson Group LLC and Vice President of Sales at Jobs in Southern Kentucky . Notable achievements include serving as Majority Whip of the Kentucky Senate , former Chairman of the Education Committee, and leadership on task forces like the Kentucky Career and Technical Education Task Force and Subcommittee on School Finance. He prioritizes economic growth, workforce development, small businesses, and family strengthening.
