Biography
Mike Wiener is a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 5B in central Minnesota, which includes the cities of Wadena and Long Prairie, and parts of Cass, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena Counties. Elected in 2022 for an open seat created by redistricting, he is currently in his second term and serves as a business owner who raises Texas Longhorn beef cattle. He has nine children and is married. Notable positions include 15 years on the Todd County Planning and Zoning Board and involvement in the Todd County BPOU as a recent Deputy Chair. In the House, he serves on the Energy Finance and Policy Committee and the Taxes Committee.
