Mike Torrissi Jr. is a Republican Assemblyman representing New Jersey's 8th Legislative District, which includes parts of Atlantic, Burlington, and Camden Counties. A lifelong resident of Hammonton, he has served in the New Jersey General Assembly since January 2022. He owns Torrissi Transport , a fuel trucking company based in Vineland with over 400 trucks operating across the East Coast. Previously a truck driver and farmer, he lives with his wife Katie and daughter Sophia. Torrissi is involved in community organizations, including the Hammonton Lions Club and Italian Sons and Daughters of America Lodge 123. He previously served as Hammonton GOP municipal chair and Republican club president. Notable committee assignments include the Special Committee on Infrastructure and Natural Resources and the Oversight, Reform, and Federal Relations Committee.
