Senator Mike Oliverio

Michael Angelo Oliverio II was born on August 6, 1963. He is a U.S. Army veteran and works as a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual. Senator Oliverio represents District 13 in the West Virginia State Senate, which encompasses Monongalia County and includes his home base in Morgantown.

He is affiliated with the American Legion, Knights of Columbus, and Sons & Daughters of Italy. He is Roman Catholic and resides in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Political Experience

Senator Oliverio serves as the Chairman of the Governor's Committee on Crime, Delinquency & Corrections and is a member of the Family Protection Services Board. He has led legislative initiatives, including SB31 during the 2025 regular session, which relates to DNA data maintained for law-enforcement purposes.
