Mike Mueller is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing the 72nd District since 2019. The district includes Fenton, Fenton Township, Linden, portions of Grand Blanc and Mundy townships in Genesee County, the village of Holly and townships of Holly and Rose in Oakland County, and Tyrone Township in Livingston County. Born on September 30, 1974, he is married to Angela and has three sons and one daughter. A U.S. Navy veteran and retired sheriff's deputy, he previously worked for the Livingston County Sheriff's Department and Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department, and runs a family orchard.

• Political Experience: Entered politics in 2018, initially running in the 51st District to succeed term-limited Rep. Joseph Graves; moved to the 72nd District after 2022 redistricting and defeated Democrat Stacy Taylor in November 2022. Serves on the House Appropriations Committee, chairs the Michigan State Police subcommittee, and is vice chair of the subcommittees for the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Michigan Department of Natural Resources; also on subcommittees for human services, higher education, and community colleges. In his first term, served on Agriculture, Health Policy, Energy, and as vice chair of Military, Veterans' Affairs and Homeland Security committees.
