Mike Mrowicki is a Democratic representative for Windham-4 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving since 2009. Born on September 27, 1954, in Jersey City, N.J., he moved to Putney, Vermont, at age 27, where he became a father and transitioned from blue-collar work to roles in parenting education, child care, family services, and administration. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys biking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, and basketball; he is also a musician who has released four CDs of original music. Outside politics, he has been involved with the Putney Food Shelf, Windham Hunger Council, Sojourns Community Health Center board, Vermont Positive Fatherhood Initiative, and Putney Quaker Meeting.
