Senator Mike Moon is a Republican representing Missouri Senate District 29, which includes Barry, Christian, Lawrence, and McDonald Counties. Originally from North Carolina, he was born there and graduated from Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. He attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, where he met his wife, Denise, with whom he has been married for over 44 years. Moon had a 28-year career in marketing at Mercy Hospital and now works as a cattle rancher on farms in Lawrence and Christian Counties.
