Biography

Mike Karickhoff

Michael Harry Karickhoff was born on July 1, 1956. He is an American politician and member of the Republican Party representing Indiana's 30th District in the Indiana House of Representatives, a position he has held since 2010.

Before entering state politics, Karickhoff served as a Kokomo City Councilman. He was recruited and endorsed by Governor Mitch Daniels to run for the state representative position in the 2010 Indiana elections.

Political Experience

Karickhoff's legislative career spans over 15 years in the Indiana House of Representatives. He serves as House Speaker Pro Tem, making him one of the highest-ranking members of the state legislature. He represents the Kokomo area and has been actively involved in legislative matters throughout his tenure.

Karickhoff is not seeking reelection, having announced that he will not continue his political career beyond the current legislative term.
