Mike Henderson is a Republican state senator representing Missouri's 3rd Senatorial District, which includes Crawford, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Washington counties, and part of Jefferson County. Born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri , he was elected to the Senate in 2024 and took office in 2025. Previously, he served in the Missouri House of Representatives for District 117 from 2017 to 2025, including as Speaker Pro Tem from 2023 to 2025. A former educator, administrator, teacher, and coach from 1983 to 2014, he resides in Desloge with his wife, Cheri; they have two children and one grandson.
