Biography
Mike DeWine is a Republican who serves as the 70th Governor of Ohio, elected in 2018 and reelected in 2022. Born on January 5, 1947, in Yellow Springs, Ohio, he was raised in a small family business background, working early for his father's seed company in Cedarville. He is married to Fran , whom he met in first grade; they have eight children, 28 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. DeWine's career emphasizes protecting Ohio families, children, and communities, with priorities including the opioid crisis, child health, welfare, education, and family strength.
