Biography

Mike Armanini

Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives representing the 75th Legislative District, which encompasses all of Elk County and portions of Clearfield County, including the cities and townships of DuBois, Curwensville, Falls Creek, and several others.

Mike Armanini was born and raised in Kersey, Elk County. He comes from a strong business background, beginning his career in the powder metallurgy industry in 1986 at Laurel Manufacturing in DuBois. In 1997, he left to start up and co-own Product Assurance Services in St. Marys, a world-class provider of laboratory and nondestructive testing services. He also co-founded Proform Powdered Metals in Punxsutawney.

In 2015, Armanini transitioned into education, accepting an invitation to serve as headmaster of DuBois Central Catholic School, a position he held for three years while learning about the area's education needs. After a brief return to the powdered metals industry at Clearfield Metal Technologies, he chose to pursue elected office.

Armanini is married to Valerie Pasi and resides in the Treasure Lake community near DuBois with their children, Dante and Michaela.

Education and Political Experience

Armanini graduated from Elk County Christian High School and Clarion University.

He was first elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in November 2020, assuming office on December 1, 2020. He is currently in his third term of service. For the 2025-26 legislative session, he serves on four committees: Energy; Liquor Control; Professional Licensure; and Tourism, Recreation & Economic Development. He also chairs the Subcommittee on Travel Promotion, History & Heritage.

Beyond his legislative work, Armanini serves on the Penn Highlands Healthcare Board of Directors and the Penn Highlands Community Nurses Board of Directors. He has previously served on the boards of Goodwill Industries and the DuBois YMCA.
