Michelle McCane is a Democratic representative for Oklahoma House District 72 . A Tulsa native, Black, Native American, and openly LGBTQIA2S+ woman, she made history in 2024 as the first woman and openly LGBTQIA2S+ person elected to this seat, and the second person of color to hold it.
