Biography
Michele Matsikoudis is a Republican member of the New Jersey General Assembly representing the 21st Legislative District, which spans portions of Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, and Union Counties. She has served since January 2022 and holds the position of assistant conference leader since January 2024. A resident of New Providence with her husband John and three children, she was born and raised in Bayonne in a multigenerational home. Her career includes roles as vice president in municipal bonds at Morgan Stanley , director of business development at Worth, Ltd. , and currently as a real estate professional. Notable achievements include recovering over $1,250,000 in state benefits for constituents, bipartisan bill sponsorships receiving unanimous votes, and volunteer service as a board member of the New Jersey Veterans Network since 2020, earning the New Jersey Veterans of Foreign Wars Commendation Award. She advocates for affordability, education, smaller government, lower taxes, and stopping overdevelopment.
