Michael J. Webber is a Republican member of the Michigan Senate representing District 9, which includes Rochester, Rochester Hills, Troy, Utica, and parts of Oakland Township, Shelby Township, and Sterling Heights. A licensed insurance agent and longtime resident of the district, he is married to Julia and has one child, James. Notable achievements include being named one of Oakland County’s Elite 40 Under 40 in 2013 and an Outstanding Young Michigander by the Michigan Jaycees in 2014; he previously served as the 58th president of the Rochester Area Junior Chamber .
