Michael J. Rodrigues is a Democratic state senator representing the First Bristol and Plymouth District in Massachusetts, which includes the city of Fall River and the towns of Freetown, Somerset, Swansea, and Westport. First elected to the Senate in 2010, he previously served 14 years in the Massachusetts House of Representatives .
