Michael F. Rivers, Sr. is a Democratic representative from South Carolina who has represented District 121 in the South Carolina House of Representatives since 2016. Born on October 16, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, Rivers has established himself as a longtime public servant in the Lowcountry region, where he currently resides in Saint Helena Island, South Carolina. He is a father of three children and grandfather of two.
