Biography
Michael Lee Meredith is a Republican representing Kentucky's 19th House District in the Kentucky House of Representatives since January 2011. His district includes Edmonson County and part of Warren County. Raised on a small beef cattle farm in Edmonson County, he serves as a loan officer at Bank of Edmonson County and is Baptist. Notable achievements include a 100% pro-life and pro-gun voting record, legalizing sports wagering in Kentucky , securing over $50 million for a Veterans’ nursing facility in Warren County, and over $18 million for vocational education expansions. He has received endorsements from the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, National Rifle Association, and a “Friend of Kentucky Cities” award. He won re-election unopposed in 2024 after a strong Republican primary victory.

Education: Graduated from Edmonson County High School; Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Kentucky University.
