Senator Michael E. Kreun represents District 32 in the Minnesota Senate, covering communities in Anoka County including Blaine, Ham Lake, Columbus, and Lexington. First elected in 2022 and serving since 2023, he holds the position of Assistant Minority Leader . Notable achievements include prior service on the Spring Lake Park School Board, where he advocated for fiscal responsibility and parent engagement, and the Coon Creek Watershed Board, focusing on water quality and flood mitigation. He is a lawyer specializing in real estate litigation at LeVander, Gillen & Miller, P.A., co-owns a self-serve craft brew pub in Blaine, and volunteers with the Children’s Law Center of Minnesota, Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission, and youth services at Eagle Brook Church. Kreun and his wife, Laura, have lived in Blaine for over 20 years and raised three children: Anders, Josie, and Andrea.
