Representative Michael Keaton is a Republican serving Washington's 25th Legislative District, Position 1 in the House of Representatives. He grew up near SeaTac Airport, developing a passion for airplanes, and later moved to Puyallup. A 20-year U.S. Air Force veteran, he flew F-16 Fighting Falcon combat missions and earned the call sign "Batman." Notable achievements include service on the Puyallup School Board , where he expanded Career Technical Education, prioritized academics, and boosted parental engagement. Currently, he works in the defense industry as an Air Force operational expert on warfighter integration. In the legislature, he serves as assistant ranking member on the Education Committee and on Appropriations, Postsecondary Education and Workforce, and Technology, Economic Development, and Veterans committees.
