Melody June Cunningham is a Democratic representative for House District 97 in the Montana House of Representatives, elected in the 2024 election. Born on October 30, 1958, in Augusta, Kennebec County, Maine, she is a resident of Missoula, Montana, and previously worked as an English Language Tutor for MCPS and as an Ombuds for UTHSC College of Medicine. As a first-generation college graduate raised by a single mother after her father's early death, she specialized as a doctor in pediatric cancer care and pediatric hospice. She serves on the House Committee on Children, Families, Health and Human Services and supports reproductive freedom and privacy rights under the Montana Constitution.
