Biography

Melinda Kane is a Democratic Assemblywoman representing New Jersey's 6th Legislative District, which spans Burlington and Camden counties, including municipalities such as Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Voorhees, and others. A proud Gold Star mother, she lost her son, Marine LCPL Jeremy Kane, in Afghanistan on January 23, 2010—the 15th anniversary of which marked her entry into the General Assembly in 2025.
