Senator Max Wise is a Republican representing Kentucky's 16th Senate District, which includes Adair, Allen, Metcalfe, Monroe, Taylor counties, and part of eastern Warren County. Born on June 28, 1975, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, he serves as Senate Majority Floor Leader and chairs the Senate Standing Committee on Education. Notable achievements include prior work with the FBI in counterterrorism, teaching roles as a professor at Campbellsville University and adjunct professor at the University of Kentucky's Patterson School, and recognitions such as Educator of the Year from the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce and Campbellsville University. He is involved in community boards like the Kentucky Health Insurance Information, Protection, and Privacy Board and Kentucky Christian Academy, and supports initiatives like Upward Basketball.
