Biography
Max Leonard Miller is a Republican U.S. Representative for Ohio's 7th congressional district, serving since 2023. A Jewish member of Congress, he is one of only two Jewish Republicans in the House as of 2024 and previously served as a political appointee in the first Trump administration, including an appointment to the Holocaust Memorial Council in December 2020. He won his Republican primary in May 2022 with 71.8% of the vote and narrowly secured reelection in 2024 with 51%.
Education and Political Experience
Miller grew up in Northeast Ohio, graduating from Shaker Heights High School in 2007. He attended the University of Arizona before transferring to Cleveland State University, earning a bachelor's degree in 2013. His political career includes roles in the Trump administration and election to Congress, where he has advocated for strict immigration restrictions.
