Matthew Overcast is a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 155 since January 8, 2025. Born in Houston, Missouri, and residing in Ava, Missouri, he was elected in 2024, succeeding Travis Smith. A licensed attorney, Overcast previously served in the United States Air Force from 2010 to 2014. In the legislature, he serves on the Elementary and Secondary Education Committee, the Emerging Issues Committee, and the Judiciary Committee.
