Matt Stone is the incumbent State Attorney from Florida's 19th Judicial Circuit. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003. Stone began working as an Assistant State Attorney in the Sexual Predator Unit of the State Attorney's office. In 2012, Stone was promoted to Chief Assistant State Attorney. In 2016, Stone was elected State Attorney. He oversees an office of about 160 employees, handling over 35,000 cases per year. Stone has focused on keeping kids in school and out of the justice system through civil citations and restorative justice programs.read less
