Matt Slater is a Republican/Conservative Assembly Member representing New York's 94th Assembly District, which covers parts of Putnam and Westchester counties, including the towns of Kent, Patterson, Putnam Valley, Carmel, Southeast, Somers, and Yorktown, as well as the village of Brewster. Elected on November 8, 2022, he resides in Yorktown with his wife and two children. Notable achievements include balancing Yorktown's budget as town supervisor through spending cuts and economic growth, cutting town taxes for the first time in three decades , and developing an economic plan praised by the Business Council of Westchester County that attracted investments from Trader Joe’s and Uncle Giuseppe’s.
