Matt Sabourin dit Choinière

Matt Sabourin dit Choinière is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives representing the Rockingham 30th district. Born in Niskayuna, New York, he is a practicing Christian and military veteran.

Politically, he identifies as a propertarian and has been vocal in advocating for states' rights. He has spoken at various festivals, forums, and the New Hampshire General Court on topics including states' rights, and has advocated for New Hampshire families and veterans. He describes himself as opposing the "uniparty" and credits his political awakening to coverage of the 2008 Presidential election.

Beyond his legislative work, Sabourin serves on the Seabrook Planning Board and is a Policy & Community Fellow of the Natural Law Institute. He is also a PADI Master SCUBA Diver.

Education

Sabourin earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, which he completed in 2013.

Political Experience

Sabourin was elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2024 and began serving in that position in 2024 to the present. Before entering electoral politics, he served as an active-duty Air Force Officer, commissioned through Clarkson University in 2013, and has since separated from the military. His current residence is in Seabrook, New Hampshire.
