Biography
Matt Krause is a Republican politician currently serving as County Commissioner for Precinct 3 in Tarrant County, Texas. Previously, he represented Texas House District 93 from 2013 to 2023. Born on August 19, 1980, in Tyler, Texas, he is a constitutional attorney known for defending pro-life causes, religious liberty, and free speech rights. He and his wife Jennie have five children and are active in their Christian faith community.

- JD, Liberty University School of Law , graduated Magna Cum Laude, third in class; national moot court team member, law review editor, and Student Bar Association president.
- Bachelor's in History/Social Science, San Diego Christian College , graduated Summa Cum Laude; NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete in men's basketball.
