Matt Bierlein is a Republican state representative serving Michigan's 97th District, which spans portions of Bay, Genesee, Saginaw, and Tuscola counties. A Tuscola County native born on April 21, 1982, in Vassar, he is married to Mindy Frahm Bierlein since 2010 and has three children: Matthew, Madison, and Maddox. He is currently in his second term after winning election in November 2022 and reelection in 2024.
