Mary Young , full name Mary McNamara Young, is an American politician, psychologist, and special education teacher from Colorado. A Democrat, she represented House District 50 in the Colorado House of Representatives from June 2019 to January 2025. Notable achievements include improving access to mental health care, advocating for residents with learning disabilities, and sponsoring legislation like Colorado Youth Entrepreneurship Awareness Week. She views herself as a lifelong public servant focused on behavioral health, developmental disabilities, and education funding.
