Mary Schneider is a Democratic-NPL member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 21 . First elected in 2014, she was re-elected in 2018 and 2022, and has served since 2015. Notably, she briefly served alongside her son, Mac Schneider, until his reelection loss. She has declared her candidacy for the 2026 North Dakota Senate election in District 21 to succeed retiring Senator Kathy Hogan and is unopposed in the Democratic-NPL primary.
