Biography
Mary Lou Marzian is a Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 41 since January 2025. Born on September 16, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, she is a retired registered nurse and Catholic who resides in Louisville. She previously represented District 34 from 1994 to 2022, first elected in a special election after the incumbent's resignation, and returned after winning the 2024 election for District 41 following redistricting. Notable for her long public service career, Marzian is recognized for advocating equality, justice, and opportunity, with committee roles including Elections, Constitutional Amendments and Intergovernmental Affairs, Administrative Regulation Review Subcommittee, and Medicaid Oversight and Advisory Board.
