Marvin R. Pendarvis is a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 113. He assumed office in 2017. He previously served on Charleston County Council from 2013 to 2016. Pendarvis attended Burke High School. He earned his B.S. from South Carolina State University in 1999 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004. From 2004 to 2008 he was an associate attorney with McAngus, Goudelock, and Courie LLC. He has served on Charleston County Council and taught civics and history at Burke High School.read less
