Mark Tisdel

Mark Tisdel is a Republican politician from Michigan who has served in the Michigan House of Representatives since 2021, currently representing the 55th House District. Born on September 21, 1955, in Port Huron, Tisdel represents Greater Rochester, including the cities of Rochester and Rochester Hills and part of Oakland Township.

Tisdel is married to Susan Durand and has two children, Laura and Andrew. He is a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, where he has served as a cantor since 1992, and is active in his community through involvement with multiple charitable organizations including Angels' Place, Rochester Area Neighborhood House, and Teen LifeLine.

Education

Tisdel graduated from Port Huron Northern High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Drake University in 1978.
