Mark Sigrist is a Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives serving District 10, which includes Grove City. Born in Grove City, he is married to Melissa and has three children: Emily, Alex, and Adam. Before entering public service, he had a 33-year career at Honda North America in roles including accounting and strategic planning, retiring in 2018; he also owns Phoenix Events since 2012. Notable achievements include founding the Thanksgiving Day Wattle 5K in 2012, which has raised over $220,000 for the Grove City Food Pantry; being a finalist in the 2021 Columbus Dispatch's Every Day Heroes contest; championing zero-waste initiatives and food waste composting in Grove City; and organizing Grove City's first Bike Bus Week in 2023 to promote active transportation.
