Mark Schreiber is a Republican representative for District 60 in the Kansas House of Representatives, which includes most of Emporia, Americus, and much of western Lyon County. Born and raised in Kansas, he raised his family in the state and was first elected in 2016; as of 2026, he is seeking a sixth term. A moderate Republican, he focuses on common-sense solutions for families and businesses, with emphasis on K-12 literacy in education policy.
